Laminaria sinclairii (Harvey) Farlow, Anderson & Eaton (BC)

This species of kelp is relatively distinct in the flora as it develops simple blades from a rhizomatous basal system (Image A). We have only a single collection from, what was at the time at least, a robust population near Bamfield.
